Mining Info

Pool address: http://arionum.rocks

This is also where you need to point your miners.

This is a sub-pool of arionumpool.com. http://arionum.rocks mines to arionumpool.com as one miner. The pool address on arionumpool.com can be seen here - Arionumpool Address

Pool Fee: 0%

Share degradation rate: 1%

Min Payment: 1 ARO

Block confirmation: 10 blocks

Reward split: 100% historic shares

Payment process: Once the pool has earned 100 ARO, payment will be made to all active miners according to shares earned.

To check the current balance of the pool wallet, please go to this link - Pool Wallet

Mining software

There are several different ways to mine ARO. You can use ProgrammerDan's Java miner, Bogdanadnan's GPU and CPU miner, or cryptogone's GPU only miner.

ProgrammerDan's Java Miner

Windows

Goto the follwing GitHub link to download the Windows binaries - ProgrammerDan's GitHub

Make sure you select the correct file for your CPU capability -

NON AVX CPU's

AVX capable CPU's

AVX2 capable CPU's

If you are unsure of your CPU's capability, download and run the following utility - CPU-z

Linux

To gain the best mining speeds, it is advised to compile locally. Please follow these steps to install the Java miner to your Linux computer -

 sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install openjdk-8-jdk maven git gcc make -y
 sudo apt-get install build-essential -y
 git clone git://github.com/Programmerdan/arionum-java
 cd arionum-java/arionum-miner
 mvn clean package
 chmod +x build-argon.sh
 ./build-argon.sh
Run the miner using - ./run.sh

Bogdanadnan's GPU/CPU miner

Bogdanadnan's GPU/CPU miner is currently the fastest CPU miner, however does not gain quite as much GPU speed as cryptogone's GPU miner.

The miner supports both Nvidia and AMD GPU's

Windows

Goto the following link to download Windows binaries - Download

Unzip and edit the .bat file arguments with your details. For example -

ariominer --mode miner --pool http://arionum.rocks --wallet xxxxxxxxxxx --name worker_name --gpu-intensity-cblocks 0 --gpu-intensity-gblocks 0 --cpu-intensity 80 -v

Linux

To compile locally under Linux, please do the following -

 sudo apt-get update
 sudo apt-get install ocl-icd-opencl-dev build-essential cmake -y
 git clone http://github.com/bogdanadnan/ariominer.git
 cd ariominer
 mkdir build
 cd build
 cmake ..
 make

To use the miner, simply enter the following in your open terminal -

./ariominer --mode miner --pool "pool address" --wallet "wallet address" --name "worker name" --cpu-intensity "intensity" --gpu-intensity-cblocks "intensity" --gpu-intensity-gblocks "intensity"

For more information on the settings and suggested configuration please go to Bogdanadnan's GitHub page here

cryptogone's GPU miner

cryptogone's GPU miner is currently the fastest GPU only miner. It only uses your GPU when mining, even on CPU blocks.

The miner supports both Nvidia and AMD GPU's

Windows

Goto the following link to download Windows binaries - Download

Unzip the file you just downloaded and edit the "run_CUDA.bat" (Nvidia GPU's) or "run_OpenCL.bat" (AMD GPU's) file with your details.

Linux

To compile locally under Linux, please do the following -

 git clone https://bitbucket.org/cryptogone/arionum-gpu-miner.git
 cd arionum-gpu-miner
 ./setup_libs.sh linux
 ./setup_submodules.sh
 ./gen_prj.sh linux
 ./make_release_linux.sh

Once done, the built files are placed in the "rel" folder. Edit run_CUDA.sh or run_OpenCL.sh depending on your GPU and fill in your information. Save the .sh file and simply run the miner with either "./run_CUDA.sh" or "./run_OpenCL.sh"
